TTP
TTPs work sits across three areas. First, adaptable systems: flexible, upgradable platforms designed to counter evolving threats, including software-defined radios and satellite payloads built to accommodate change throughout their lifecycle. Second, attritable assets: cost-effective, expendable systems engineered for volume production, where rapid value engineering and supply-chain resilience are central to the offer. Third, autonomous systems: AI-enhanced capabilities ranging from neural network-based drone detection to autonomous ground robots, developed with a consistent emphasis on assured human control.
Underpinning all of this is TTP’s own manufacturing facility, which allows the company to move quickly from design to initial production runs of 10 to 100 units. Their multidisciplinary teams draw on expertise from commercial sectors to tackle complex systems engineering challenges, and the company places particular emphasis on protecting the intellectual property of the sovereign solutions it develops for defence customers.
Talent, Pipelines and Cross-Sector Defence
TTP operate in many sectors that inform each other “You can’t just take the defence part of TTP out – it’s a bigger part of the whole,” Wrench argues. The message for APEX Europe is that defence innovation now sits at the intersection of multiple domains, and that the organisations able to operate at those intersections – and at speed – will shape the next decade of European security technology.
TTP at Apex Europe 2026: Discussion panel and roundtables
On their stand, TTP will be showing live examples of its work in tactical communications and custom RF sensing, including a bespoke radar system, aimed squarely at European defence start-ups and scale-ups now fuelled by new venture money and under pressure to deliver.
A discussion panel hosted by TTP will lead directly into a set of facilitated roundtables, each working to a simple but demanding question:
“What would it take for a NATO commander to identify a need on Monday and have a deployable solution in his hand by the following Monday?”
The intent is not to romanticise the Ukrainian model of two-week iteration cycles, nor to endorse “buying off dubious shelves with all the security holes that go with that,” but to extract practical lessons on shortening development and procurement loops without abandoning rigour.
The discussions will feed into report to be published after Apex Europe, positioned as thought leadership on ‘unsticking’ procurement rather than a marketing brochure.
